After that we will take you visit the Oldest and the biggest temple that located on the slop of Agung Volcano called Besakih. Besakih Temple Karangasem Bali

Besakih Temple is the biggest Hindu temple in Bali which the local people call Pura Besakih. It owns beautiful view from the top of temple area where we can see the wide nature panorama until to the ocean so that way this temple is many visited  by tourists from all over the world. Besakih Temple is located in Besakih countryside, Rendang sub district, Karangasem Regency, east part of the island. It is located in southwest side bevel of mpunt Agung, the biggest mounts in Bali. It is because pursuant to Agung Mount Confidence is holiest and highest mount in Bali Island.

Besakih in Mythology

The Besakih’s name is com from the word of Basuki, the old language from Sanskrit Wasuki, and then it become the Ancient Java Language. In this sanskrit, Basuki means congraculation. In mythology of Samudramanthana has mentioned that Basuki is a dragon that twines the Mount Mandara. The omission has come from tradition megalithic which had been indicated that it had to be sanctified place. It seems, the Besakih is coming from very old era which is far before the existence of Hinduism influence. Hereinafter, an Ancient Bali king of Sri Kesari Warmadewa found the Merajan Selonding Temple in this temple complex area. He also commands to build the Blanjong Monument that is located in Sanur Village. The Besakih Temple complex is built pursuant to cosmos balance. Besakih Temple in Hindu’s Philosophy

Barong and Keris Dance

Barong dance is an exciting dance drawing a giant lion played by two people and Barong it self is symbolizing of the good side. When the Barong dance is performed, it is always performed two side of the life influence ‘evil and goodness’. Rangda is symbolizing the bad which two of them are always apposite each other and Rangda it self is drawing as a woman with the hair raising face and she always want spread the bad influence to all people in the world, however Barong is always rescue the moment when Rangda do the bad thing. Barong Dance is accompanied by Gong Kebyar (the orchestra traditional Balinese instrument) which is played by a group of people. During the Barong dance performance, there is Keris Dance attraction also performed where ‘Keris (the wavy double bladed dagger) are used by the dancer to stick Rangda in order to kill the evil.

Celuk Art Village, The Center of Gold and Silver Smith

Celuk Village is the famous village in Bali as a tourist destination cause of the local residents is very proactive and full of innovation to the gold and silver crafting. This countryside is located in sub district of Sukawati, Gianyar Regency and owns the individuality and excellence in production of gold and silver crafting. Most of them are Balinese professional, artistic and skillful of design development related to the silver and gold crafting.

Tegenungan Waterfall

Tegenungan Waterfall is one for nature lovers who happen to be staying in Ubud or have neighbouring Sukawati among their tour itineraries. The falls are conveniently located halfway between Ubud and Bali’s provincial capital of Denpasar, and is considered the closest natural attraction of its kind that you can reach within only a half-hour transfer southeast from Ubud town. Getting to the falls is a pleasant drive down paved village roads lined with stretches of green rice fields on both sides.

Kintamani (Lake Batur, Batur Volcano)

Kintamani is a name of countryside located in the hill and the beautiful panorama surround it. We can see beautiful panorama from Kintamani to overview the active volcano of Batur Mount and wide Lake of Batur in a valley. It is situated in the plateau area with cool weather surround it. When we stand up at Kintamani, we will be able to see the rural area which is close to the lake. This place is very famous and visited by many tourists everyday.

Beautiful Rice Terrace in Tegalalang

Tegalalang countryside is located at 5 km northern part of Ubud Village and own the magnificent view of rice terrace. The rice terrace is designed very beautiful with exquisite hollowing rice field and precisely located on the hill bank. In this place, you will see the Balinese farmer do their rice field in oblique area complete with its system irrigation. You will enjoy the beautiful panorama of valley with rice terrace and coconut trees ornament it. Tegalalang Rice Terrace is one of the tourist icon in Ubud and many visited by tourists every day.

Tanah Lot Temple

As one of the six cardinal temples of Bali and on of the most scenic, Pura Tanah Lot holds its own as Bali’s most visited temple. You may have seen it before on postcards and in guidebooks, with its multi-tiered meru (Pagodas) perched on a rocky outcropping in the sea, highlighted against the hazy hues of the sunset. The temple is not only scenic, but also shrouded in intriguing history and legend.
